Aged Care
You decide what services you want, how they are delivered and by who.
Staffing Options can assist you to design the supports that work for you in your own home and in your communities of choice.
We offer aged care services on private, fee-for-service basis, or you may be eligible for subsidised services via the Support at Home program through My Aged Care.
We have experienced staff who can bridge the gap when families are juggling busy lives, to ensure the safety and quality lifestyle of a parent or family member.
What is Support at Home?
Support at Home is a government-funded program that helps older Australians live the life they choose, safely and independently, in their own homes and community.
If you need a little extra help with daily activities, personal care, or staying connected to your community, Support at Home enables you to direct your supports in a way that respects your rights, preferences and choices.
Why choose Staffing Options?
With Staffing Options, you will be able to create the support you want, how you want it. We support you to self direct your services and you can have as much or as little involvement in finding your services as possible.
We have a team of experienced staff waiting to work with you to help you create the life you want to live.
Support at Home Service Categories
The government has created a list of services that shows what kinds of support people can receive under the Support at Home program.
Services are grouped into three main areas:
Independence supports: Help with personal care, social and community support and maintaining skills needed to live independently. You may have to contribute a small or moderate fee, depending on your pension status.
Everyday living supports: Covers general cleaning, shopping, home maintenance and similar services that allow people to stay safely at home for longer. These usually require a higher contribution based on income, assets, and pension type.
Clinical supports: Focus on maintaining or improving physical or cognitive health. These services must be provided or supervised by a qualified health professional and are fully funded by the government, with no contribution.
